and the farmer can’t sell his crops
Blood runs where it never ran
and hope fades where tears drop
Small talk sells and an issue tells
about the comfort of gasmasks
Schools ‘re shut but big mouths ‘re not
bragging about duties and tasks
Big Brother lurks around the block
‘You must be back by the evening clock,
No, you can’t see that girlfriend anymore,
cause her parents are
what Big is waiting for!’
No houses ‘re built,
cause the men will be killed
who are the builders of our homes
No sleep tonight, cause the flashes ‘re bright
and the never ending bombing drones
I’m against the war

And the load of money which is wasted in
serving the revenge of some president’s grin
It could be much more
what we ‘re heading for
than to waste the way
to our neighbours’ door

while the so-called saviours
are killing your kin
